For the past few weeks, the Second and Third graders have been sharing the non-fiction books they've written. It is so interesting to listen to their books on a wide variety of topics, from paper to summer, penguins to cats.
While the Third Graders have been busy studying and learning about rocks and minerals, the Second Graders have been studying air and weather. They made pinwheels and kites and brought them outside to explore how air moves. What a fun day!

We brought our anemometer outside, an instrument to measure wind speed.
