Before Winter Break...

The Second Graders learned about adjectives and wrote their favorite adjectives on these festive snowflakes! The Third Graders researched their families history. Each Third Grader made and presented a poster displaying their mother and father's ancestry. I loved listening to the family traditions and interesting stories that the Third Graders discovered while doing this project. The posters are on display in our hallway. Come see them!
Math games are not only FUN, but they really help the students practice the skills we've been working on. Check out the exciting games we've been playing!

With their Fourth Grade buddies, the Second and Third Graders made these snowflake people. Aren't they cute?!
Amber was our Virtual Field Trip Planner. She took us on a trip to the Mote Aquarium.

Kayla was our Star of the Week. In her survey question, she asked which game everyone likes best. See the results below!

We had a fund-raising assembly during which Mrs. Cedillo got duct taped to the wall!

On the Thursday before Winter Break, we had our holiday party. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful party volunteers. We couldn't have had so much fun without your help!
